18 month check up

Wow, I have been off the blogging radar for a little over a month!  I suppose we are just so busy having fun this summer, I haven't made the time to sit down and type.  It really is the truth, bedtimes & dinners are pushed back this time of year, who wants to come inside while the sun is still shinning so bright?!  This week is proving to be, well, some may say a bit suffocating.  After work, its in the house we go, it is just flat out gross out there!

Today we met with Dr. Thomas for Henley's 18 month well child exam!  Our growing little girl tipped the scale at 22lbs!  She is in the 25th percentile for weight, 25th for head circumference and 75th for height.  Sizing her up to a few of her friends, she does stand a bit taller.  She received only one shot today, and will not have to see another immunization until she is 4 years old (except seasonal flu shots)!  She did cry a little, although it never helps the situation when she is being held down, but she was quickly distracted when an Elmo band aid was slapped on her thigh.

Where's Elmo?  Oh, there he is!!

We even stopped for ice cream for an after appointment treat.  We could barley get inside before it was dripping from the heat!
