38 Weeks

Today marks 38 weeks, wow how we are getting so close!  We met back with Dr.McCarron this afternoon and all is going well.  Baby's heart rate is 130 and sounding wonderful as ever!  I am currently at 1.5 cm dialated and 50% effaced!  Now we know this doesn't determine anything other than nature is taking its course but it is kind of exciting.  As we know, anything is a go at this point, so until then we just play the waiting game.

I have so enjoyed being pregnant, it has been an amazing experience and I am forever grateful that I have beeen able to carry with no problems.  I am going to miss my belly, yet I cannot express how great it will feel to get back in my normal clothes and feel back to myself.  I look forward to hugging Brandon again without a giant wedge between us, and laying on my stomach!  One thing is for sure, we are so excited to meet this little girl, we have all of these thoughts on what she is going to look like, and what traits she will have gained from us.  It will not be long until we are able to hold her in our arms and love on her forever!
