New Friend

Brandon's Mom made very special Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for each of the grandchildren. For Henley's, she was able to use fabric from her bedding, which makes it even more special! We thought this would be a great way to size Henley up over the next few months. It would really show her growth, so when I propped her up next to Ann, it looked like they were best friends!




So my Mom planned to come up today to spend some time with Henley while I had an appointment to get my hair cut. When we woke this morning, Henley's eye was draining and mattery. Mom arrived and agreed that a call needed to be made to her doctor. I was concerned it was pink eye, but I can report that it turned out to be a clogged tear duct. Doctor is treating it the same as if it were pink eye, because it was showing signs of infection. Her first prescription was filled, 4 times a day eye drops. My heart just broke every time I looked at her, as she tried to open that left eye. Daddy has been singing, "the one I love..." to her, he thinks he is funny!
