Tid Bits

Happy May! We have found that we have started our list of outdoor projects earlier this year thanks to our weather! We have several home improvements we would like to tackle this year, but we will just take one at a time and see where we end up. First on the list this year was updating our landscaping. About 2 weeks ago, we tore up our old bullet pavers and started pulling the existing shrubs and bushes. We got a little happy with the truck and chain because before you knew it, our front yard was empty, everything was gone!! Whoops, I guess this means we will start fresh! We had some new blocks delivered last week, and Brandon got busy this weekend installing the new. It is hard work and once it is finished all of the credit goes out to my hardworking Husband, wow! It is very tedious as leveling plays such a key role,

Saturday afternoon, we cut out early and headed to the Holub's house for a BBQ. The Eddin's were there as well, and as usual it was a great time. The little ones played while the guys grilled, enjoyed a few drinks, and the ladies caught up inside. We always look forward to summertime get togethers!

So I have a confession...we are already allowing Henley to get sucked into the TV, she loves Baby Einstein! I never thought it would capture her attention for as long as it does, but it does!! She gets all snug with her lovie, nukey nuk and blankie and we are set!

We also introduced Henley to her exersaucer, that was pretty funny! She went from stone silent, no movement to bugged eyes, open mouth and cooing! Her little piggies just touch the base, but in no time she will fill this out and rock it like its her business!

She has been noticing KJ more and more, and tonight, she locked her eyes on him. He thinks she is just okay, giving her kisses now and then, but again she doesn't do much to get his attention right now either, just waiting for when she starts pulling his hair!
