Spring is Near

We have been taking full advantage of the several nice days the past few weeks by getting outside and walking!  Oh the feeling of the cool air on my face, the warmth of the sun, and the enjoyment of the time spent with Henley. She LOVES going on walks!   As I peak over at her, she is sitting straight up, her little fingers tucked in each cup holder as she scans, just scanning the scenery!  With an occasional grab for a snack, or pull off the sippy cup, she is light up with enjoyment! Its a great feeling to see the neighbors out, some who we have not seen since Fall, the busy sidewalks and the smell of the grills being prepped for something juicy!  It is near, very near...Spring!

We opened up the back gate, freeing Henley to run around and to discover her backyard for the first time upright!  She found sticks, a ball and grass!  She was very cautious stepping off the patio, I guess I didn't realize how different that probably felt to her.  As soon as the grass turns green, the socks are coming off and we are going to roam!
