Blue Angels

With a few months of planning, our company picnic came together! I was able to organize it around the Quad City Air Show! The air show was something Brandon and I had wanted to attend forever, so when the opportunity came up to have the picnic at our Eldridge location, we went with it. Our set up was almost perfect, we were right across the street from the airport!

There were some great performers including the US Army Parachute Team, Fat Albert, the F-16 Viper, & the US Harrier...that thing was amazing! It could fly forwards, stop, fly backwards, stop and turn a full circle in the standing position. It landed from a upright vertical position then took off from the ground going straight up, whoa it was cool!

However, nothing compared to the performance made by the US Blue Angels!!! The precision was outstanding as everyone stood in awe! They were so incredible, I wanted to shake their hands after wards.

It was a wonderful day, we will defiantly be making the Airshow an annual event! Afterwards, we were able stop in Davenport and hang out with Brandon's cousins Kristy & Jarin, their beautiful children along with family and friends. It was a wonderful day outside, we got more sun than we bargained for, but what a way to start off the Summer!
