Salsa Garden

It's official, the tomatoes are in the ground! We went into Palo this morning and picked up Amish tomatoes, green peppers and jalapeños...all in hopes of a wonderful season. Last year we were very lucky and our tomatoes grew so large, it became so hard to take care of them. We were able to furnish our family with all their wants and we hope this year treats us the same. Brandon makes a wonderful salsa, yum that sounds so good!

Our backyard is really coming together. We are currently working on a few projects that shouldn't last more than a few weeks, including some dirt leveling, sealing the patio and painting of the foundation. We enjoy our patio so much, I just cannot imagine what we would have done without the extra space, it really does feel like an expansion of our house!

Seriously, is he not the happiest looking dog...he loves his backyard too. Maybe he is smiling because he just peed on the grill and my flower pots, I cannot get him to stop. Darn boys, always have to make it known where they stand.

We really enjoyed our weekend! Friday night I feel asleep during a movie, that is no shocker, but Brandon said it was good. Saturday, we headed to Gutenberg to share the day with some great friends. We enjoyed good company, music, food and the sun.
