Today we learned that our Sequential Screening tests came back negative! We knew all along in our hearts that everything was fine, but it was great to have that feeling confirmed. We are very relieved to know that thus far we have a very healthy baby and we could not ask for anything more. Two weeks from today we learn what this little one is, what an amazing moment to look forward to. The poll is looking great, we love that people are voting, and it is currently tied! We did however just learn on Monday that Mistie and Mike (Brandon's sister and brother-in-law) will welcome a baby boy on December 17th! Among Brandon's siblings, the trend is boy first & with my sisters, the first born were girls...so we are anxious to see where we fall. We know one thing for sure, that we do not care either way, as long as he/she is healthy and that is the truth! We understand that it is truly a blessing to have a healthy pregnancy for both Mom & Baby!
For those that have seen me recently, it is pretty obvious that I am really starting to show. I can no longer suck it in, and well, I don't want to. I'm excited for the outside world to see that I am carrying a baby, I really have looked forward to this part. The downside of course is that I am slowly starting to incorporate maternity clothes, but I am realizing they are pretty comfortable. So little by little I am making the transformation. The other morning I couldn't believe how much I was sticking out of my work clothes. Brandon grabbed the camera and took a few pictures. I may not be so thrilled to have pictures taken, but I know I will appreciate them later on when I can reflect back in a few months and say, "I wish my stomach looked like that!"
