Galena

What a wonderful weekend we have just had.  One really couldn't ask for more, truly!  Saturday morning we picked up Mike & Kirsten Eddins and headed to Galena for the day/night to celebrate both of our anniversaries, which happens to be only week and one year apart.  We have made it our tradition to return to Galena for shopping, dining & good company.  Kirsten and I started the day off with some shopping while Mike and Brandon found their way to Gobbies to catch the Iowa game.  We then met up with them for lunch and the second half of the game.  I will just stop there, as it was a very disappointing loss, but the guys handled themselves pretty well.

We returned to the condo to freshen up and enjoy a few drinks out on the patio.  I would have never imagined the weather to be as beautiful as it was, and we wanted to take every advantage of it. 

We made reservations at The Flying Horse, which used to be Backstreet Bar and Grill, who actually catered our wedding.  With a few minor changes to the menu, it was essentially the same resturant, which was nice.

We decided to hit a few of the local bars up as many of them host live entertainment.  It was interesting to say the least, so we headed back to the condo for a few nightcaps and conversation.

This morning, Kirsten & I woke to the start of another beautiful day, grabbed breakfast at Eagle Ridge, then headed to Stone Drift Spa for a message. Aaaaahhh, that was wonderful!  It was nice to get worked on, as my body has recently been feeling the joys of pregnancy.
