Due Date - 40 Weeks

Today is our offical due date, the day we have looked forward to since we learned we were pregnant!  It really is hard to believe we are actually here.  For the past few weeks we have anticipated her arrival, our bags are packed, the house is baby proofed and we have had the mind set that anything is a go at this point.  So the days have come and gone, and still no official signs that baby is ready to make her debut, so we have been taking full advantage of the "lasts" together.  This past weekend we went out to eat, picked up carry out, took our time running errands, slept in, hung out on the couch because we knew it would be the "last" time we do this before 2 tunrs into 3!

Our appointment went very well today!  Dr. McCarron was out of the office, so we met with Dr. Lyons and she was wonderful!  Baby's heart rate ranged from 122-126 and she is in great position.  We are 80% effaced and still 1.5cm dialated, but doc was very pleased, so that was good news to our ears.  We are currently on the schedule for an induction this Sunday, should baby decided she likes it better inside than out!  We are both glad to have a date on the calendar, yet every day we hope she decides to come on her own.  At this point we are just days away, and it is becoming very real.  We a so ready to meet her, as you can about imagine!

Well, our offical next blog will be the announcement of our daughter!  We are about to start a brand new chapter in our lives, and we are so excited to see what we are in for!
