15 Week Checkup

This past Friday, we had our 15 weeks check up with Dr. McCarron. We both look so forward to our appointments because it allows us the chance to ask a few "is this normal" type questions, as well as the assurance that everything is going well. The stage that we are at now is still that in-between place where I am growing, but not yet carrying a full blown belly (although it is getting close). It is still too early to feel any movements, so looking forward to those appointments every 4 weeks gives us confirmation that, yep the baby is still there and yes we are still pregnant! Of course our favorite part of any appointment is the chance to hear the baby's heartbeat, it is like music to our ears. Well yesterday it was strong and registering at 145 beats per minute! Aahh, we can rest again for another 4 weeks!

As you can see the Baby poll was neck and neck for a while, but Girl has pulled ahead by one vote! Well you can mark your calendars for Friday, August 21st (my sister Jennifer's birtday!) because that is when we will learn what we are having! I am just so excited to get another glance at our baby because that will be it until he or she arrives! We are ready to start that bonding, and start getting serious about bedding, PJ's and room decor!
